  1. The book, “Guide to Georgia Vegetable Gardening,” was just what I was looking for, as a birthday gift for our daughter-in-law. She, our son, and children have been living in Georgia for about five years and requested a book on vegetable gardening. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there are gardening books specific to various states, and found one

for Georgia. Our daughter-in-law was amazed to get a Georgia gardening book, has

scanned it, and is thrilled that it has everything she needs to begin her vegetable garden. She can hardly wait to have her boys start digging!

  2. I hope you already know Felder Rushing,Louisiana gardener! Then you know his book will not only give you the information you are looking for, but also include surprising and fascinating side bars. Felder puts the fun into whatever kind of gardening you want to do, without leaving out the how to! Check this book out for planting nuts and fruits as well as a huge variety of vegetables.

This book is very valuable to anyone interested in vegetable gardening in GA. I was new to the area and the soil here is much different from the soil in NJ. I bought the book as a reference guide and it has been very helpful. My garden is getting better each year.

  4. I ordered this book for my daughter who had moved to Georgia from LA. She, a keen gardener, tells me that it is exactly what she was looking for and expects it to be a great help in her new surroundings.
